Browserfax is a browser extension and web service that enables users to securely transmit digital documents and PDFs to physical fax machines directly from their browser.
User Accounts & Emails
- Google Sign-In: Access to the Service requires signing in with a Google Account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google credentials.
- Email Communications: By creating an account or signing in, you explicitly consent to receive emails from us regarding product updates, service notifications, and account-related information regarding your sent faxes. You may opt-out of marketing communications but will continue to receive essential service/transaction messages.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to transmit spam, unsolicited commercial advertisements, illegal content, or malicious software.
- Use the Service to interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of our telecommunications partners or any other network.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the extension.
Service Reliability & Delivery
While we utilize enterprise-grade telecommunication pipelines to securely transmit your documents, we cannot guarantee 100% reliable delivery due to variables outside of our control involving receiving physical fax machines (e.g., busy signals, out of paper, powered off). In cases of repeated delivery failure, our system will notify you, but we are not liable for business interruptions caused by failed transmissions.
Intellectual Property
Browserfax and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by West Wanted LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, West Wanted LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses. Our total liability regarding any service failure is strictly limited to the amount paid for the specific transmission in question.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
